Reports reaching XGh TV, Ghana says President John Evans Atta Mills has passed away. It was confirmed by Martin Newman, the President Chief of Staff. The incident reportedly occurred 37 Military Hospital in Accra. He is the second African President to pass away this year.
Prior to his death, President Mills mills had had to deny many rumours of his passing, the latest being a few weeks ago before he traveled to the United States for a routine check up. The Vice President John Dramani Mahama is expected to deliver a statement on the news.
